Quince
FAMTaughtMe Honors Quince by donating a portion of our patreon earnings to the Quince kickstarter. “Quince” is an immersive theater experience that brings the audience into the world of a queer Quinceañera.
“Quince” focuses on a 14 year old Mexican-American girl who is confronting her queer identity, her family, and her faith on the eve of her Quinceañera. The story plays with Chicano imagery and the interplay of European and indigenous ancestry through a playful lens. It’s a very fun comedy!

Making Homebirth Possible
FAMTaughtMe Honors Denise Washington and Delivering Unto You by donating a portion of our Patreon earnings to their fundraiser.
Delivering Unto You provides compassionate maternity support education and is dedicated to making a change in how Black Women see and receive care during their pregnancy.
Donations received will fund certified professional midwives who will offer their services to qualified patients. Medicaid reimbursement only pays an average of $1500, leaving patients with an out of pocket cost of $1,500-$2,500 that needs to paid by 36 weeks or 6 weeks postpartum. Their goal is to help 12-15 families of color over the next 8 months with the out of pocket cost for midwifery care and birth kit supplies so they can have a low, to no out of pocket cost for their care. All funds will go directly to the families in need.
